Ultra Game / Wasteland Roadfire
Wasteland Roadfire
Drive an armoured road vehicle through a hostile wasteland while its roof weapon holds off pursuing machines. Read enemy telegraphs, time your fire and boosts, and survive a road that reacts to every mistake.
Wasteland Roadfire is a top-down survival shooter played from an armored jeep on a scorched highway. Raider buggies, rammers, rocket vans and heavy vehicles attack from around the screen while an auto-targeting roof turret handles aim. Your job is to steer, position and decide when to hold fire or use a limited boost.
Weapon drops change the rhythm during a run. Mounted rifles, machine guns, mortars, rockets, lasers and homing or chain-reaction weapons favor different ranges and enemy groups. Road events such as dust storms, minefields, supply drops and convoy ambushes force the same vehicle to solve different movement problems.
The campaign contains 15 levels, with a distinct boss every third level, followed by an escalating endless mode. Combo and no-damage rewards encourage controlled aggression rather than simply surviving at the edge of the road.
How to play
- Steer away from collision paths while the turret tracks enemies inside its range.
- Hold FIRE when the lane is safe enough to attack without sacrificing movement.
- Collect weapon drops and power-ups, then adapt to their range and timing.
- Use boost to escape a committed threat, not as a routine movement button.
Features
- Seven weapons with different ranges and firing rhythms
- Five bosses across a 15-level campaign
- Dynamic road events and optional convoy protection
- Endless play, combo scoring and no-damage rewards
First-run tips
- Prioritize rammers and mines that reduce your available driving space.
- Save boost until an enemy telegraph closes every normal escape lane.
- Move before holding fire; a clean line is worth more than a few risky shots.
